Shipping & Refund Policy

CaratPay operates as a technology and execution platform for retail jewellers. Physical delivery of gold or silver metal is facilitated through authorised third-party supply partners.

Delivery Timelines

  • Upon a confirmed delivery request by the jeweller, physical metal delivery is typically completed within 2–3 business days for Tier 1 cities.
  • Delivery timelines may vary based on location, logistics availability, supply partner operations, and force majeure events.
  • Delivery is made to the jeweller’s registered address or designated delivery location, as provided during the delivery request.

Delivery Modes

  • Doorstep Delivery: Subject to serviceability and partner policies.
  • Self-Pickup: Available at designated locations, subject to prior confirmation and partner terms.

CaratPay does not guarantee delivery timelines and shall not be liable for delays caused by third-party logistics providers or circumstances beyond its control.

Due to the nature of metal transactions:

  • Metal bookings cannot be cancelled once executed.
  • Gold or silver is booked at live market prices through authorised third-party supply partners and is settled immediately.
  • As a result, cancellation requests are not permitted after booking confirmation.

Jewellers are advised to review booking details carefully before confirming any metal transaction.

  • No refunds are permitted once a metal booking has been executed.
  • Metal transactions involve immediate market settlement and physical metal allocation through third-party supply partners.
  • Refunds, reversals, or chargebacks are not supported for such transactions.

This refund policy applies uniformly to:

  • Metal booked for jeweller inventory
  • Metal booked against customer gold or silver savings schemes

CaratPay operates solely as a technology and execution platform. CaratPay does not sell metal directly and does not assume ownership or custody of gold or silver at any point.

All metal bookings and deliveries are executed through authorised third-party supply and logistics partners, on behalf of participating jewellers, pursuant to their instructions and applicable customer authorisations (where applicable).
