Delete Account
Deleting your account on CaratPay is a very straightforward process. It ensures that your data is permanently deleted from CaratPay's database.
Before you proceed, we'd like to ensure you're aware of the impact this decision may have on your Business access and account history. If you have any concerns or issues, our support team is here to assist you. Now, let's guide you through the steps to close your account:
How to delete your account
- Log In to CaratPay app: Begin by logging into your account through the app. Make sure you have the latest version installed for a seamless experience.
- Navigate to Home Screen: Once in, click on the profile icon located at the footer of the home screen.
- Find "Delete Account" Option: Within your Profile Page, look for the option labeled "Delete Account". This is where you initiate the account closure process.
- Make your decision: To ensure the security of your account, we'll ask you to confirm your decision to close your account. Follow the on-screen instructions and proceed with the deletion process.
- Final Confirmation: Once you've confirmed your decision, click on the Delete Account to finalize the account closure.
What Happens Next
After successfully closing your account, your CaratPay Account (Both Metal & Purchase Plan) will no longer be accessible through the app. This action is irreversible. Your phone number, email ID, and any other identifiers will be immediately removed from our records.
Additionally, in accordance with RBI guidelines, your KYC data and transaction history will be retained for 12 months. Please note that after this period, KYC and transaction data will also be permanently erased.
